Amazon has launched new fast delivery options across many US cities. The e-commerce giant now offers one-hour and three-hour delivery for more than 90,000 items.

“Our customers are busier than ever and want new ways to save time,” said Udit Madan, a senior leader at Amazon. The company says these delivery options will make people’s lives easier.

Prime members pay $9.99 for one-hour delivery or $4.99 for three-hour delivery. Non-Prime customers pay more—$19.99 for one-hour or $14.99 for three-hour delivery.

The one-hour option is available in hundreds of US cities. The three-hour option reaches over 2,000 cities and towns. Major areas like Los Angeles, Chicago, and Washington, D.C. have the fastest service.

Amazon uses its same-day warehouses for these deliveries. The company previously tried similar services. It launched “Prime Now” in 2014 but stopped it in 2021. Amazon also tested 30-minute delivery in some cities recently.

The company is expanding fast delivery worldwide. In India, it offers 10-minute delivery through Amazon Now. In the United Arab Emirates, Amazon promises 15-minute delivery service.
