San Francisco: AMC has shared clips from its new show The Audacity at CES 2026. The show was created by Jonathan Glatzer, who has worked on popular series like Succession and Better Call Saul. The Audacity focuses on how the people in Silicon Valley shape our modern world through technology.

Dan McDermott, an AMC executive, highlighted that these innovators are laying the groundwork for new technologies like AI and data collection. He believes it is important to examine their impact on our lives closely. Actor Billy Magnussen also noted that Silicon Valley is crucial in defining modern life and that it’s a perfect setting for a dark comedy.

The show features well-known actors including Sarah Goldberg, Zach Galifianakis, Simon Helberg, and Rob Corddry. Interestingly, the story takes place in a fictional world without real company names or famous tech personalities. One character, played by Helberg, is a genius who creates an AI therapy app while struggling to connect with his teenage daughter.

Helberg mentioned that loneliness is a key theme in the show, as characters try to find connection through technology, which comes with challenges. Two clips shown at the event included a funny scene where Magnussen’s character is interrupted by Galifianakis. Another clip highlights Helberg’s missed chance to bond with his daughter while using her reactions to train his AI.

The Audacity is set to premiere on Sunday, April 12, on AMC and AMC+.
