Atonemo Streamplayer Review: Make Old Speakers New Again

Atonemo Streamplayer Review: Revitalize Your Old Speakers Effortlessly

Discover how the Atonemo Streamplayer transforms old speakers into impressive audio devices with ease and convenience.

Technology

New York: The Atonemo Streamplayer is a device that connects to old speakers. I tested it with my dad’s Arcam amplifier and vintage Mordaunt Short speakers. At first, it was easy to set up, and the music sounded fine when using services like Qobuz and Spotify. However, when I compared it to a CD player, the sound quality was not as strong.

The bass and music details were much clearer through the CD player. While this streaming device offers ease, it still depends on the audio quality of the songs. Atonemo claims it can work with many old speakers. However, you’ll need extra cables for some setups. Atonemo only included a 3.5mm audio jack in the box, which is useful but might leave some users needing more cables at the start.

There are other options, like the WiiM Mini Music Streamer and the FiiO SR11 Desktop Streaming Music Receiver, which might provide better choices for music lovers. These alternatives offer different streaming features and audio quality.

What Atonemo does well is making it easy to use. The app is simple and focuses on streaming music to your old speakers. While better sound quality and more cables would be nice, Atonemo keeps things easy for those who want a simple way to enjoy music.
