Hyte X50 PC Case Review Shows Computers Can Be Cute and Functional
The Hyte X50 PC case review highlights stylish designs and effective cooling for better builds, showing that looks and performance can go hand in hand.
The good news is, there’s space for three fans on both the front and motherboard sides of the case. It took time to decide on my fan setup. In the end, I mounted my big cooler on the side and added three fans at the bottom for air intake. Even though I’m a dog owner and it’s not my favorite option, the magnetic filter is easy to clean. My GPU enjoys the cooler air, and my CPU radiator is six degrees cooler now.
Building my system was pretty easy because there was a lot of space in the front and behind the motherboard. There’s a hard drive bay, but I only use M.2 drives, so I took it out for more room for my fan and pump controller. Some spots were tight, like near the power supply and where the IO cables pass under the motherboard. But once built, these spots are not a big deal, and there are many tie-down points for organizing cables.
The Quest for Perfection: A nice-looking case like the X50 can make things tricky. As I finished my build, I saw little details I missed. The fan cables were nicely bundled but visible under the motherboard. Also, my power supply fan met one edge of the cutout, but there was a gap on the other end with visible cables. These things don’t hurt performance, but I notice them every time I check my system.
