iGarden M1 Pro Max 100 Review Pool Cleaner Star Player

iGarden’s M1 Pro Max 100 pool robot offers strong performance at a lower price, though cleaning up after use can be tricky.

Technology

iGarden: The iGarden M1 Pro Max 100 pool robot works well but has some cleanup challenges.

The robot ran for 10 hours in floor cleaning mode. In full coverage mode, it ran for about 7 hours. That’s enough for two or three cleanings before needing to charge again. The robot can clean pools up to 1,274 square feet. When cleanup time comes, the robot must be pulled out with a pole since it won’t come to the surface by itself.

The filter basket holds a lot, but only has a small opening for access. Inside the basket, there’s a shelf that makes it hard to reach and see dirt. Water from a hose often can’t wash everything out through the small hatch. You can add an extra fine-mesh filter that snaps onto the basket. This filter has smaller holes but most people won’t need it. I didn’t notice much difference when I tested it.

At $1,599, iGarden cut the price by $1,000 from last year’s model. The robot still works about the same but now costs less. This puts it in the same price range as other top robots. The robot works well if you don’t mind getting a little wet when pulling it out and cleaning the basket.
