Meta Appoints Former Trump Advisor Dina Powell McCormick as President and Vice Chair
Meta has named Dina Powell McCormick, a former Trump advisor, as its new president and vice chair, aiming to enhance its strategy and growth.
Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, praised Powell McCormick for her experience in global finance and her strong worldwide connections. He believes she is the right person to lead Meta during this growth phase.
Before working at Meta, she served as deputy national security advisor to Trump. Trump even congratulated her on Truth Social, calling her a fantastic choice for Meta.
Powell McCormick also worked under Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice during the Bush administration. Additionally, she spent 16 years at Goldman Sachs in leadership roles. Last week, Meta hired Curtis Mahoney, another former Microsoft executive who worked in trade under Trump.
