San Francisco: OpenAI is almost ready to get more than $100 billion from people who want to invest money in the company. This gives OpenAI a value of $850 billion even though the company is spending a lot of money and trying to make more. The ChatGPT free users will see ads soon so the company can earn more money.
The company still has a value of $730 billion before any money is added. Big investors like Amazon, SoftBank, Nvidia, and Microsoft are giving the money first. Amazon could give up to $50 billion while the others will also give billions.
