Skylight has unveiled its new Calendar 2, a digital tool designed to keep families organized with shared features and easy navigation.

San Francisco: Skylight started as a digital photo frame, but now it helps families stay organized. The company released the Skylight Calendar 2 at CES 2026. This new digital calendar is sleeker than the original version but smaller than the big Calendar Max. You can also change the frame color to fit your home style.

The Calendar 2’s best feature is its software and AI. It combines all your family’s calendars from different services like Google Calendar, iCal, and even kids’ sports apps such as TeamSnap. You can easily see everyone’s schedules with bright colors. Plus, if you have important dates or flyers, you can just take a photo, and the calendar will add them for you.

Skylight wants to help families with other tasks too. The calendar can track grocery lists, remind you of appointments, help with meal planning, and find recipes. You can still see family photos when you’re not using it.

The app is made to be simple and colorful, making it easy even for little kids. They can check off chores by matching pictures instead of reading. Parents can plan meals for days like Taco Tuesday or find recipes. The app can even create a shopping list or add items to your Instacart.

Another fun AI feature allows you to take a photo of your fridge’s contents and get recipe suggestions based on what is inside. Skylight has gained popularity, with over 1.3 million families using its calendars, and more users are expected as the new design is rolled out.
