New York: Some amazing items from Steve Jobs and early Apple are up for auction this month. Christie’s is selling special documents like the original partnership agreement signed on April 1, 1976. Ronald Wayne sold his share soon after, which is now estimated to sell for $2 million to $4 million.

Items connected to Jobs have recently sold for incredible prices. He was not eager to sign things, making his signature very special. Even a simple signed business card can sell for six figures. Bobby Livingston, an executive, says collectors have a strong emotional tie to Jobs. Many people who start their own companies admire Apple a lot.

One auction lot includes items from a man named Chovanec. He kept things that came from Steve Jobs’ home. After Jobs’ father passed away, Jobs allowed Chovanec’s mom to live in the house. Chovanec says Jobs only kept family photos. The desk and other items were left for him.

Chovanec worked at Apple for 16 years without telling Jobs he was his stepbrother. He wanted to keep that private. When he attended Jobs’ memorial service, some people looked surprised to see him there. Now, his collection is a part of the auction.
