You’ve Got a Public Reddit Profile. Here’s How to Curate It

City: Reddit: To customize what people see on your Reddit profile, click the Update buttons on the right side. The Profile option lets you change your display name and picture. You can also adjust social links and notification settings.

If you want more privacy, switch to the Privacy tab. This gives you control over your profile’s visibility. You can hide your profile from search results and decide if others can follow your activity. You even have the option to turn off chat requests completely if you want.

To find the new settings, click Update next to Curate your profile on your profile page. Alternatively, if you are already in settings, open the Profile tab to scroll down to Curate your profile. Remember, these changes only affect your profile visibility and do not change your posts and comments.

You can also access these settings through the Reddit app for Android or iOS. Just tap your profile avatar in the upper right corner. From there, choose Curate your profile or Settings to customize your Reddit experience, including your display name and picture.

Curate Your Profile: You can hide activity from certain subreddits. There are two toggle switches in the curation settings. The NSFW toggle, if turned on, will hide all NSFW (not safe for work) content from your profile. This means any posts or comments on adult subreddits will not appear. However, it does not hide NSFW subreddits you have visited.
