A 19-year-old is charged with murder after a fatal stabbing in El Paso’s West Side
El Paso: A 19-year-old named Raymundo Morales III has been arrested for murder. This follows a tragic stabbing that took place over the weekend at a West Side home.
According to the police, Morales allegedly stabbed 40-year-old Angel Martin Herrera during a domestic violence incident early Sunday morning. The stabbing happened at a house on Beaumont Place.
Morales is also facing another charge related to family violence. He’s currently being held at the El Paso County Jail with a hefty bond of $700,000.
Police responded to a call about family violence around 4 a.m. on Sunday. When they arrived, they found Herrera had been stabbed and rushed him to the hospital, but sadly, he didn’t make it.
Morales was taken into custody that same morning. The connection between him and Herrera hasn’t been revealed yet, and the investigation is still ongoing.
It’s a tough situation for everyone involved, and the community is left shaken by this incident.
