Bluefield: So, here’s the scoop. Two folks from Mercer County are in some serious trouble after a wild high-speed chase that started in Bluefield and ended near Camp Creek. They’re facing felony charges for fleeing the cops and even child neglect. Yikes!

Meet Eric Adam Robinson, 29, and Jorgia Nelson, who’s a bit of a mystery age-wise. They both got hit with charges for reckless driving and conspiracy, plus a little something for having a broken headlight. Not a great look, right?

This whole mess kicked off on December 22 when the Bluefield police tried to pull them over. Instead of stopping, they took off on Route 460, zooming south on I-77 and even into Virginia. The chase was so intense that the Bluefield officers had to call it off.

But wait, it gets crazier! The car turned around in the tunnel and headed back into West Virginia. Trooper Ingraham was waiting at mile marker 8 and spotted the speeding sedan. When he turned on his lights, they took off again, hitting speeds of around 120 mph. Can you believe that?

Eventually, they tried to turn back onto the interstate but got blocked in by the cops. That’s when they found a baby in a car seat. Talk about a dangerous situation!

And here’s the kicker: Jorgia admitted to having drugs on her. She handed over a bag with crack and heroin, plus they found over $4,000 in cash on her. Robinson and Nelson are out on bond now, but this is definitely a story to remember.
