PERRY TWP: So, here’s the scoop. Police in Perry Township have slapped murder charges on a guy named Myron Johnson. He’s already in prison for a parole violation.

They’re hitting him with two counts of murder, plus a couple of other serious charges. Apparently, he’s linked to the death of a 57-year-old man named David Ward.

Ward was found dead in his apartment back in July. His son got worried when he hadn’t heard from him and went to check on him. That’s when they discovered the sad news.

The police haven’t shared exactly what evidence they have against Johnson, but they’ve named him as a suspect. Right now, he’s locked up at the Lorain Correctional Institution for a previous weapon charge.

As of now, there’s no word on when he’ll face these new charges in court. The local coroner and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation are also looking into the case.
