Puyallup: An 18-year-old guy got shot in the leg on Saturday night, and now the police are on the hunt for two suspects who took off after the incident.

It all went down around 10:30 p.m. at an apartment complex on 43rd Avenue Southeast. That’s just east of Meridian, right between downtown Puyallup and South Hill.

When the police arrived, they found the young man with a gunshot wound to his thigh. Witnesses said they heard some arguing before the shots rang out. They even found some spent shell casings in the parking lot.

The victim got treated at the scene and was then taken to a nearby hospital. Thankfully, his injuries aren’t life-threatening.

Now, the police are trying to track down the two suspects who ran off. They were described as younger guys wearing dark clothes.

The police even brought in a drone and a police dog to help find them, but no luck so far.

If anyone has any info or video from that night, they’re encouraged to reach out to the Puyallup police tip line at 253-770-3343 or shoot them an email at tips@puyallupwa.gov.
