An MTA employee has been charged after allegedly slashing a man who was sleeping in a Brooklyn subway station early Monday morning, leaving him injured.
Brooklyn: So, here’s the scoop. An MTA worker got into a wild situation early Monday. He allegedly slashed a guy who was just trying to catch some Z’s on a bench in the subway.
The victim, a 47-year-old dude, ended up with a cut near his left eye at the Atlantic Avenue–Barclays Center station around 1:45 a.m. Not a great way to start the day, right?
Medics rushed him to New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, and thankfully, he’s in stable condition now.
As for the MTA worker, he was arrested, but the exact charges are still being sorted out. It seems like things got heated when he was pouring bleach, and an argument broke out. What a crazy scene!
