Greenwood: A fire broke out in an apartment building on Sunday, and sadly, one person lost their life. It happened in an eight-unit building on Clearview Way.
According to the Greenwood Fire Department, the fire started after an explosion was reported in the morning. The tenant who died was in the unit where the fire began, but they haven’t been identified yet.
Fortunately, the other six apartments were evacuated without any injuries. The Greenwood Police and the Indiana State Fire Marshal are looking into what caused the fire.
