Virginia Beach: Police recently made a huge drug bust, seizing over 150 pounds of meth. This is the biggest haul in the department’s history!

It all went down when officers from the Virginia Beach Police Department teamed up with Homeland Security. They stopped a guy named Alonzo Harden Jr. from Minnesota during a traffic stop.

When they searched his car, they found two big bags in the trunk. Can you believe it? Those bags held about 156 pounds of meth! That’s a lot of drugs.

The police chief, Paul Neudigate, said this bust is a big deal for fighting drug trafficking in the area. Harden is facing some serious charges, including possession with intent to distribute.

Neudigate mentioned that this seizure will help keep thousands of doses of meth off the streets, which could save lives and keep the community safer.

What a relief for the folks in Virginia Beach!
