The Webb City Schools Foundation is gearing up for its 21st annual Honors Banquet on March 4, celebrating local educators and community members
Webb City: The Webb City Schools Foundation is all set for its 21st annual Honors Banquet on March 4. It’s happening at the Webb City High School Dome, and it’s going to be a great evening.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and dinner kicks off at 6 p.m. If you want to join in, tickets are $35 each. You can grab them at the Webb City School District Administration Building or online before February 28.
This year, they’re honoring Stephen and Pam Gollhofer as the 2025 Distinguished Citizens. Both have impressive backgrounds, having graduated from Missouri Southern State University and earned master’s degrees from Pittsburg State University.
Stephen started his journey in Webb City back in 1977 as a student teacher. He became a social studies teacher and later moved up to assistant principal and then principal at the high school until he retired in 2010. He also coached basketball and football during his time there.
Pam, on the other hand, was a special education teacher in several schools, including Webb City. After retiring, she volunteered at local organizations and is still active in the community through the library and her church.
Besides honoring the Gollhofers, the foundation will also celebrate four Hall of Fame inductees and five Pillars of Education. Plus, they’ll recognize some outstanding Cardinal Teachers and the 2025 Foundation Staff Grant recipients.
If you want to learn more about the foundation, check out their website or give them a call. It’s a wonderful way to support education and celebrate those who make a difference in the community!
